Farley Nursery School is located in the Old School House at Farley, just six miles east of Salisbury. The Nursery School has a unique approach to teaching and delivering the early years curriculum in that the majority of time is spent outside. As well as a delightful garden adjacent to the Nursery, we have a two acre field where many activities take place, summer and winter. Whether it is taking part in a nature hunt, learning a new song or investigating the capacity of a wheel barrow, our firm belief is that happy children learn and that children learn best through hands on, child centred play.

The Principal at Farley Nursery School is Sue Palmer, a qualified teacher with over eighteen years experience of working in the early years. An additional strength at our Nursery School is that all of our highly qualified staff have an absolute passion for giving each child the best possible start as they take those early steps out into the world.

As well as fun-packed days, the older children enjoy ballet classes run for us by the Forest School of Dance, all children enjoy music and singing with Jo Jingles. We also introduce all children to French as we have fluent speakers on our staff. Everyone also takes part in Drama lessons which are provided by a very experienced teacher.
