As with any business we have had staff leave for pastures new and new staff have joined the team. We are especially pleased to welcome Katie as our new Trainee manager, with Nic acting as her Deputy. We are sure she will soon lick us all into shape. Whilst we sadly bid goodbye to Maureen, we have been incredibly lucky to secure Ben as our new chef. Every day the children have a fantastically tasty homemade soup prepared for them at lunchtime and in the afternoon the children enjoy Ben’s fruit scones, cheese straws (the best ever!) and he makes a marvelous sponge filled with fresh fruit or custard. We could open our own Farley Patisserie! Ben also prepares a wonderful high tea and in addition the children are now able to enjoy a hot cooked breakfast.

We have been enjoying the recent snowy weather; enjoying being pulled along on sledges and making ice marbles. Our regular walks to see the ponies have been quite muddy recently, and on the last occasion everyone seemed to disappear in the mud – but it was great fun!

Ballet has started again with Miss Melanie and all the Top Conkers are trying very hard. French continues with Jo and Jo Jingles is enjoyed by everyone.

The team at Farley Nursery School continuously strives to deliver the very best in Early Years Education, whilst caring and cherishing for every child. We are full on certain days of the week and Top Conker is overflowing with smiley faces, but we are still able to admit children on some days. Don’t forget that we run Farley Rangers for those at school up to the age of nine during the school holidays.
