Welcome to 2013
While it is always exciting to welcome in a new year, we have many fond memories of 2012.

We had a sunny Sports Day, eventually, and a rather wet start to the Farley Festival but woke to find the sun shining on the Sunday morning. We had a great Dads’ Breakfast in June and a lovely Leavers’ Day at Steeple Langford Lakes. We had a splendid Harvest service in the church, and then – the Nativity! We had 86 children taking part this time, and they all behaved beautifully and did exactly what was asked of them. It is always such a moving start to the Christmas season. Father Christmas visited us in the rain whilst his reindeer were resting in the woods; it is always a pleasure to see him. We had Christmas parties and a wonderful Christmas hamper was made by parents’ generosity and won by the Blake family, raising £250 for Hope and Homes for Children. On the last day of term all the Farley staff went to see Sleeping Beauty at The Playhouse and we had a fantastic time – what a laugh!
